 Farm School, our preschool program, is designed for children ages 3-5 years. Katydid’s preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow emotionally, socially and intellectually through developmentally appropriate experiences on an active farm at Frying Pan Farm Park in Fairfax County, VA.

Tiny Tots are our parent-child classes for children ages 18 months - 3 years. In our classes, children work on socialization and language along with fine and gross motor skills through music, movement, art projects, circle time, and more! Classes run in 3 sessions from September to May and are held inside the Frying Pan Park Schoolhouse. 

We offer several Camp programs for children ages 4-10 years throughout the year as a contractor with the Fairfax County Parks Authority (FCPA). Camp dates coincide with school breaks, such as Summer, Winter, and Spring breaks.  Our camp programs aim to provide children opportunities to learn about themselves, nature and history outside the classroom.
