Register for Preschool
We accept registrations for the upcoming preschool year from the children currently enrolled first, then their siblings, alumni siblings, and Tiny Tot students. Priority registration for this group ends in early February. In January, students currently enrolled in our preschool or Tiny Tot program will receive registration information from their child’s teacher.
Registrations are also accepted from the public at any time, however class placement for the public is made in mid-February. The registration packet for the 2025-26 school year is available below. If you have questions, please call the Schoolhouse at (703) 689-3104 between 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday.
The preschool registration fee of $140.00 ($195 max per family) is due with any application. This fee is non-refundable once you are assigned a class space. All payments and communications should be dropped off at the Schoolhouse or emailed to info@katydidkids.com. You can also mail to:

Forms Required to Enroll in Preschool:
The following documents are required for enrollment and must be submitted by the child’s first day of class. These forms are provided below for your convenience, but copies can also be obtained at the Schoolhouse.Â
Proof of the child’s identification, such as an original birth certificate or passport is also required to be shown to us by the child’s first day of class as well.
The Health Information Form (which includes an immunization and physical examination record) must be completed and signed by a physician. Forms for religious exemptions of immunizations must be notarized and presented in lieu of immunization forms, as applicable. Records for children 5 and under must be dated within one year of enrollment.Â

If your child requires medication during the school day, has food allergies, or asthma, you will also need to complete the additional paperwork listed below:
MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION FORM (.pdf) – Needed if your child requires medication to be administered during school day (including Epi-Pen).
FOOD ALLERGY & ANAPHYLAXIS EMERGENCY CARE PLAN – Needed if your child has a food allergy.
ASTHMA ACTION PLAN – Needed if your child has asthma.
